Monsoon Trip to Coorg from 30/08 to 03/09 from Chennai / Hyderabad / Bengaluru / Any City
If you like rain, you must join this ‘Rainy Journey‘, travelling when it is raining. Coorg is one of the best places for Monsoon trip. You will experience best monsoon activities such as White Water Rafting, and tasting lip smacking food. Use long weekend and join our Monsoon Trail at Coorg and get to see the nature at its best with lush green valley and waterfalls.

We will reach Mysuru by taking overnight journey from Chennai / any city or by taking early morning trip from Bengaluru. We will freshen up & do breakfast and will first do white water river rafting.
River Rafting Barapole River white water rafting
is a must do for an adventure enthusiast and is South India’s one and only white water rafting place with 4 rapids rafting. After the rafting, we will visit Tea estate view point and head to Iruppu falls.
Visit to Iruppu falls Iruppu falls is one of the important places to visit during the monsoon seasons. It is absolute perfect thing to do for person who like to go to waterfalls when it is raining. Located in south Coorg amidst the dense forests of Brahmagiri range, Iruppu falls is a fun place to be in. It is very safe for young and old alike to go right close to the falls and take bath.
After the wonderful day, we will check into the hotel and relax.

Talacauvery After breakfast, leave for Talakaveri, Talacauvery is the birthplace of the sacred river Cauvery, The Brahmagiri hill is situated right beside the temple. There are a series of steps leading to the top of the hill. From there, one can have a 360 degree view of the surrounding hills. Walk up the hill is generally through the clouds. It will be an excellent experience.
Rivers merging with Cauvery point: This is where two rivers merge and the third river is believed to be merged. Hence, this place is called as Triveni Sangama. A short distance from the triveni sangama, there is a famous temple known as Sri Bhagandeshwara temple, where Bhagandeshwara (Ishwara), Subramanya and Ganapati idols are installed.
Abbey falls: It is one of the must visit places in monsoon season. This falls will be loaded with water during monsoon season and have a pleasant view. The place is surrounded by lush greenery and fragrance of Exotic Coffee and Spices. The water comes down from the cliff from a height of 70 feet & provides a spectacular scene.
Raja’s Seat: It is one of the spectacular valley view point of Coorg and a refreshing place during the monsoon with a nice mist, excellent garden, and great food joints

Mandalpatti or Chikilihole reservoir: Mandalpatti, situated at an altitude of around 4050 feet, is a hilltop 18 Kms from the town of Madikeri in Karnataka and is a part of Pushpagiri reserve forest. Mandalpatti has become a famous four-by-four Jeep drive spot to the top. In the local language, Mandalpatti is also known as ‘Mugilu-Peth’ or ‘Mugilupete’ which means Market of Cloud (Mist).
Visit to Namdroling monastery: It is the largest teaching center of the Nyingma lineage of Tibetan Buddhism in the world. The place is Peaceful, and Simply Beautiful. Loved spending every moment here and just didn’t want to leave.
Dubare Elephant camp: Jungle camp offering elephant bathing, feeding & riding experiences & optional rafting on the Kaveri River. Dubare is known for its elephant camp, a forest camp on the banks of the river Kaveri in the district of Kodagu, Karnataka. It is an important base for the Karnataka Forest Department’s elephants.

— Advisable to take bus that reaches by 06:30 hrs at Mysore. (www.KSRTC.in is recommended). Volvo Cost ~Rs.3000 (up & down)
For guests from Bangalore / any other city, Bangalore – Mysore – Bangalore
— Advisable to take Train / bus on Friday 30th August 2019 night. We are arranging a multi shareable complimentary stay at Mysore (MB International). Alternatively, you can take Train or Bus that reaches by 06:40 hrs at Mysore on Saturday 31/08. (Recommended to take 04:00 Hrs Kaveri Express (#16021) or Volvo bus from www.KSRTC.in ). AC Coach Cost ~Rs.700 (up & down), non-AC will be available at a lesser cost.
Train & Bus tickets may be available for early morning journey and return on Monday night.
